I finally decided to try a few more fish. I got a pretty good deal on them and they had been at work for a few days, all three were $28 total. One pair of green clown gobies and one tiger goby. The tiger goby seems really hardy. I have only seen one green clown at a time, so I am not sure if they are both still doing well.

This is the second attempt at green clown gobies. I bought a pair earlier on and they seemed to settle in and do well for about a month until they unexpectedly died, less than a week apart. I had tons of pods, but for no apparent reason the populations dropped significantly (before the gobies were added). They would have helped these guys. I will be happy if one makes it.

I had no luck with my green clown goby either. They are very beautiful though. Good luck with your new ones!

Now I know why there is relatively so little info on them. Every article seems to be a slightly reworded version of the last, for the most part.

I like the tiger goby!

If I recall they're tiny and packed with personality.

Very true. That is why I got it, colors aren't exactly breath-taking.

Great looking fish Fishguy. I've heard from a few different sources that the Clown Gobies actually don't have a great survival record in captivity, usually they do exactly what your first ones did, they just die for no apparent reason.

They are one of two species that made me do a salt tank, so I will not be happy if they don't live. Not that it makes it okay, but at least they aren't $50 a pop or anything.

Saw both clown gobies this morning. Both ate frozen brine shrimp.

Good-o, fishguy. Getting them to eat is 2/3rds the battle.
