Its tough getting a pic of him that makes him look good [they are ugly].I caught him hanging out on a lily leaf and snapped a shot just as he was moving off.11231

He is just 1 of 3 that I have had xperiance with,none of them were the demons they get made out to be.Maybe it was just me being a good daddy.Spare the rod spoil the cae.

CAEs are lovely fish, and great algae eaters. I was sold one as an Oto, in early days, when I didn't know the difference. After reading a LOT of nasty comments about them, I returned him. Since reading about your experience with them, I wonder if I acted in haste. I did hate to give him up....he kept the tank totally free of algae.

CAEs are lovely fish, and great algae eaters. I was sold one as an Oto, in early days, when I didn't know the difference. After reading a LOT of nasty comments about them, I returned him. Since reading about your experience with them, I wonder if I acted in haste. I did hate to give him up....he kept the tank totally free of algae.
They arent the boogy men of the fish world as most people claim.When you talk with someone about them make sure they can assure you that they actually owned that type of fish and have substantial claims of aggression.More often then not you will find that it is simply repeated info that they heard somewhere.My cae is in constant movement in search of algae.
