NO! What is it with this? Earlier you wanted to know if they ate chicken? They are fish. They eat a few veggies and fish food.

Peanut is hard, harder than pea if you crush it it's good to go i think. But now i'm using crush pea for my silver dollar also have try some peanut and they ate it all.

I can't for the life of me figure out...WHY...someone would WANT to feed their fish peanuts....it will probably be crackers and cheese..or crisps and dips next...?

Fish digestive systems are engineered for what it is they eat. They have a very short intestinal track and must be able to digest the food in a short time. When you give fish stuff to eat they are not supposed to have, it can easily kill them, get caught in their digestive track, cause constipation, bloat, etc, and they can die a painful death.

Pea's are soft. You boil frozen pea's for about 3 minutes, mush them up in your fingers to break up that shell and drop in for your fish.

Fish are stupid, you know. They will eat different things we throw in their tank but that does not mean it's good for them. It's up to us to be smarter than the fish.

I also mush my pea up in fingers before giving it to silver dollar. My other tetra eat pea as well.:18: My pea are raw i don't boil them before giving it to silver dollar.

Peas yes. But peas is not short for peaNUTS. Pea's are good for them and keeps them from becoming constipated.
