1 otto in a 55 gallon

I have only 1 Otto of 3 that I bought 3-4 weeks ago, also have a bristlenose, 2 weather loaches and 3 albino cory's in the tank. The otto is doing great and plenty of food for him to eat, should I get more or will he be O.K. by himself.

Oto's need to be in groups to be healthy and happy.

yes otos need groups of 6 to be happy and need more than just algae in the tank to be healthy. Vegetables and algae rocks are options for additional nutrition.

I have 5 in my 25g and they're much cooler to watch in groups.

I agree! More Ottos!!! I had 3, now only 1, so I need to get some more! When I had all three they were so ACTIVE and such a blast to watch!
