My pleco and corys are very shy. They hide every time i come in the room. Is there any way i can train them to stop hiding from me?

Well, your pleco is more nocternal so he/she will be out more at night, so that's normal. Your Corys should be active all the time. Corys are somewhat nocternal also but you should still see lot's of daytime activity. Let me ask you; how many do you have, what size is your tank and what type of Cory do you have?

Thanks

Hang out near them more often. Desensitization to your presence is needed.

Try standing in front of the tank for a while and not moving around much. They will get used to you the more you do it.I also drop in some sinking shrimp pellets and than you know they will come and see you. After a while its like a dog wanting a treat!
How long have they been in the tank?

Plecos are mostly nocturnal so you probably won't see much of them during the day. Corys are schooling fish and will be more comfortable the more of them you have. I started with 6 emerald corys in my 55g and they were pretty shy. Then they bred and I have around 20 now and they are all over the place now.

I have 4 bronze cory's in a 10g tank and a pleco in there also to clean the glass until he's bigger. Those are the only fish in that tank.
