All I can say is that that is a nicely aquascaped tank, and that I'm jealous of your LR, lol. Do you still have the Copperbanded Butterfly fish?

Do you still have the Copperbanded Butterfly fish?

Sadly no. I found him sucked to a powerhead just the other day. I'm not sure if he died first or if the powerhead did him in. He was doing extremely well and eating great. I really don't know what happened.

Nice set up!

Very unique looking ricordia as well.

Are those a series of moonlights on your lighting fixture?

Did you start out in SW with a 125gal or upgrade to that size?

Very unique looking ricordia as well. Those would be the Yuma variety of ric.

Are those a series of moonlights on your lighting fixture?
Yes, that was a DIY project of mine. I used the blue LED Christmas lights from Home Depot along with a curtain rod. Things worked well until half the string quit on me. I just picked up some new ones yesterday to replace them. I am going with the rope lights this time instead.

Did you start out in SW with a 125gal or upgrade to that size? This is actually my second marine setup. I originally started with a 60gal 3 years ago and upgraded it to a 75 within just a couple of months. After about 6 months I sold off the contents to get into keeping Discus instead. It also allowed me to do a lot more reading and learning. A year ago I got back into the marine hobby and that is when I set up the 125. I don't think I could start with anything smaller now. lol Even this tank restricts me on some of the species I want to keep. lol
