Rhizome division???

I have an anubias nana, and it has quite the rhizome on it. Roots growing along the entire length. Thing is, I want another anubias nana, so I am wondering, can I cut the rhizome in two, and grow both? Or, will it kill the plant?

Yup,use a sharp knife and cut it in 2.Try to have at least 1 inch pieces.

yeah you can cut it. Did the same to my nana and the cut part grows like a weed now.

I'm almost tempted to cut the larger part again to see if they'll grow just as well as the cut section now.

Anybody any pictures of rhizomes being split? are they split length ways down the middle?

Looking to do the same for my Anubias nana.
