breeding for color

Hi, We have an outdoor pond that we filled with 5 dozen gold fish. They are now about 6-8 inches long. But all the babies are black. There are only 4 black adults and all the rest orange. How can we get more orange babies? Thanks, Caren:4:

Remove the black ones?

That must be an absolutely HUGE pond to have that many fish in there!

Goldfish often change color as they age so they might eventually turn orange.
