Do goldfish eat silver dollars' eggs and fry?

Yes, goldfish will happily eat anything that will fit into their mouth!:c3: They will probably think those eggs are delicious .That is simply another reason it was mentioned that you remove the s/ds into another tank.

What about silver dollars' eggs and fry with other tetras (no goldfish just tetras)?

The tetras will eat the eggs too.

Then no breed. Is there other way to solve those problems?

Most fish become aggresive when they lay eggs. How big are your s/ds?
Do you have any pics of your tanks ? It would help everyone a great deal to provide you with proper info.
What fish do you have in with yor s/ds? Is it golds or tetras?
What filtration do you use?
I want to help you but you provide no information as to what size your tank or tanks are.

You need a filtration system of some kind!

We want to help but you have to help yourself somewhat!

Goldfish are coldwater fish and community fish and cichlids are warm water fish. They should not be together due to temp requirements.

Did you read the book on starting a tank?
You need a filter for whatever tank you have.
How big is your tank?
Do you have a heater?

Are you doing massive daily water changes or have a constant water change system?

Even the silver dollars would eat their own eggs. You need to setup a special breeding tank for them and raise the eggs separate from the parents if you want to actually produce baby silver dollars, assuming yours are conditioned to breed to begin with.

1 month i clean my tank.
Didn't check nitrate but my fish can live.
Don't know what is that mean.

I find it hard to believe that someone who only cleans the tank once a month and has not filtration is keeping anything besides bettas. If you have fish and do not know what ammonia or nitrite are or test for nitrate you need to either start doing a lot of research very fast or get the fish to a better home.

If this is spam or trolling please stop. It is not tolerated on this forum.

That isn't enough. With goldfish it should be twice weekly.

You need to check those, but I can pretty much guarentee anyways that they are way through the roof.

Then start reading! You're not going to spoon feed you all the answers that are already written down in a hundred different places. We can't explain everything a million times, but we can show you were to go. The e-book link you were given earlier.

You need a filter. Everything needs a filter, especially if you have such a poor water change scedule.

60" isn't really that much of a help, we need a gallon or a litre measurement, or at least the length of the side and the height.

No heater because i live in Thailand.
And I live in Canada....what does it matter where you live?

Ever heard of mail order? I know people in thailand with excellent fish tanks. You can't say you can't get a heater there.
The other option... if you can't get a heater don't get tropical fish.

If you live in a tropical climate that is similar to where the fish you have is native to then you wouldn't need a heater so it does matter where you live actually.

It isn't going to be 78F all year around.

In northern Thailand nights can get to be 50F, and in the south as cold as 65F.
Not to mention that a little tank isn't as big and stable a body of water as the giant lakes they came in.

It seems this is either someone who doesn't really care even though they came to a forum, that it is spamming, or trolling. I would like to be proved wrong if there are fish being kept in the nature described, but for now I think we should all assume this is not genuine.
