Comet my Delta Tail boy, he's a marble too so his colors are in the process of changing. Purhcased him when he was 3-4 months old so he's 6-7 months old now.

Tyson certainly is a gorgeous boy ;)
And just those 8.
I had one more, but I bought him knowing he was sick and tried to give him the best life he could have.

Tyson is just a petsmart betta. I don't care for the way petstores keep their bettas and would buy from a local breeder if I knew one but I don't. I had that first picture up in the POTM comp back in Dec i think.

Very nice bettas everyone! I think if they were better about being "community" fish I would probably have more, but I am running out of plugs around here for tanks!

Alright I know this is gonna come off wrong but I'm going to say it anyway.
It looks like you're waaay over feeding him o_O his belly shouldn't be protruding that far out from his body, I almost thought he had SBD at first.

I know, poor guy. :( He's been having some constipation problems. I gave him a piece of mashed up skinned pea and he's doing better now. He's still a little swollen, but it's gone down a lot more.
It turns out that he can't have freeze-dried bloodworms more than once a week. I've only been giving him betta bits and a pea here and there lately.

Do you fast him afterwards?
I only feed my bettas 5 days out of the 7 that way they can properly digest and get it all out of the system.

no, but I will try that. Do you split up the two days of fasting or fast him for two days straight?

Here's a pic of one of my female bettas. Her name is Ruby. Just htought I'd share that female bettas can look just as stunning as the males. Unfortunately, what I thought was her being constipated from pigging out on either bloodworms or tubifex worms, she got dropsy instead last week. I didn't catch it soon enough and she died ove the weekend.
Sorry the pic isn't too clear.....old 2.1 mp camera...one of the 1st to come out from Cannon. Guess its time to upgrade.
I couldn't reduce the pic I have of her tank small enough to post. I'll try and reduce and post again or post on another site for everyone to view.
