Here's the tank I cleaned. Keep in mind that the inside of the tank is dirty. I was using this tank to keep my lizard in while I cleaned my 55g.

Very hard. We just had the pipes to our building replaced too. Our City is going to buy a RO system soon though, It may help a bit.

I was going to say... my stains arent that bad. It looks a lot better though. Nice pics!

it will help out a lot!!! i have r.o. filter for my tank now. what a difference it makes! my tap (source water) was extremely high 8.0-8.2 ph and extrememly hard water. not any more. another reason i got the r.o. filter is because i'm going to start a reef setup sometime down the road.

I have been thinking about a reef setup myself... There is just a lot involved, im just trying to learn as much as i can before i actually attempt it in a few months.

yeah. i've been researching for awhile. i figure i still have more time to go too lol! oh yeah, money would have to be the biggest setback for me, i don't have any lolol

haha. Exactly, a reef tank is going to be ALOT more than a FW tank!
