Take a look at this... http://cgi.ebay.com/Saltwater-Tank-Coral-Brittlestar-Live-Reef-SafeMUST-SEE_W0QQitemZ150301546138QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item1 50301546138&_trkparms=72%3A1234|39%3A1|66%3A2|65%3A12|240%3A13 18&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14 I'd never buy it for $10,000.

I'm curious as to what flavor of crack that person enjoys smoking. Love the Q & a section though, lol.

I'd get a 2,000 dollar Gem Tang, but seriously, there are much better things to spend $10,000 on for a marine tank than one brittle star. Yes, even if the brittle star has a smiley face. I gotta admit, it does look cute with that face on it. I'll bet you $10,000 that the poster just posted the brittle star on Ebay for such a high price just for the novelty and to see if anyone would be stupid enough to take the deal, and that he isn't actually expecting to sell it. But still, LMFAOOO!!..not at the price, but at the star!!!

I'd rather set up a 125g reef tank for $10,000.

all i can say is WTMFH is that DA thinking. brittles go for $10 and sure its cool that it has a smiley face but that doesnt mean you can jack the price up 1000x.

Well put CP. If I had a ten roll to drop on a marine set up, I'd probably buy a marine set up. Not a dime a dozen trashcan with legs.

$10,000 could easily get you a 800g FOWLR. $3000 for the tank, $2000 for skimmer/sump, $2000 for live rock (at about $3/lb), $2000 for other stuff like a ton of salt mix and sand, and you still have $1000 for livestock

The dude actually thinks that because a Cheese sandwich that supposedly looked like Mary, or a prune that supposedly looked like Jesus sold for a lot, his Brittle Star will sell for $10K. Moron doesn't realize there's a huge difference between Mary, Jesus, and the Smiling Fool from Walmart.

He may sell it, rich people love to spend their cash on useless junk (not that a starfish is useless). If I had that much cash to blow I'd build a large reef tank and upgrade all my freshwater to 100 gallon tanks

If that thing sells for that price then I'm off to my LFS to buy all that I can find and posting them on ebay, lol. I seriously don't see anyone buying that thing for that price.

$100 for it might be reasonable, but $10,000. No way!!!
