I am brand-new to the freshwater aquarium, but I have been doing marine for a few years, running a succesful 120G anemone tank. (Ok, mostly my wife runs it, but I carry the darn water jugs!) :hmm3grin2orange:
I wanted to put a small 29G freshwater in my bedroom. I am still working out the details. I am thinking about angels, and a planted look, to keep it natural. You will find no false scenery in my marine tanks, so no fake stuff in the fresh either.
I still haven't decided an species of fish or plants, or even substrate at this point. So, for now I have a 29G tank, empty in my BR. I have the lighting already. 2 PC lights, a 10,000K and a 4,600nm actinic (about 40W total). I'll be reading up on filter choice as well as substrate. Nice to meet Y'all!
