Hi guys! I recently posted that i was having trouble with green algae. With your help i have been able to eliminate this problem with less light and food. Now though, one of my tiger barbs fin eating habits seem to have increased quite a bit, the guppies being the worst hit! I'm i now under feeding or is it someting else?? I feed a small amount once a day...

From what I've read tigers are natually nippy. And with there flowing fins guppies would make primer targets. How many Tigers do you have if you have them in groups they tend to be less bothersome to other fish in the tank and just mess with each other.

Yes, tiger barbs are nippers. All barbs are. They are a semi-aggressive fish and as olpz said should be kept in groups. Guppies are slower than them so that is probably why your barb is picking on them. It shouldnt be much more than that but keep an eye on them. It isnt because they are hungry either.
