I have noticed my pleco doing this several times. I have saw him blink his eyes! I didn't think fish could blink since they have no eyelids?!?!?!?!

Well, yes and no. Plecos do not have eyelids, but they can roll their eyes to the back of there heads, giving the empression that the fish is blinking. So if you look closer, you might be able to see the difference.

Many fish do this, but i see it especially in plecos and cories. Like Insain said, just them "rolling there eyes at you" gosh :rolleyes: haha

I was working on my bike after a night of heavy drinking and I just caught mine do it and I started thinking I was losing my mind or something. But then now I notice it more and more.

All the fish I've ever kept do the "blinky" thing too. They've gotta have some way of re-wetting their eyeballs, right? =D

Mine does it too. Rolls his eyes at me, usually when I am telling him to hold still I am trying to take a pic. LOL
