So my 55g has been moving pretty quickly. Plants are reacting nicely to the cO2 and I decided to get a fish. I bought a juvenile Tiger Oscar. Check out my pics below.

Watch when ur oscar grows up, It'll destroy ur aquascape... Literally... That's what I heard... It'll root ur plants and stuff... Hopefully u have a nice oscar. :D

Your Oscar will redecorate to it's likeing. If it likes floating plants you will have floaitng plants.

If it wants a hole to lay in, it will dig one.

Your not going to like having that tank in front of that window if there is any sunlight getting through those blinds.

I really like the nice sand. I whish I had gone that route.

I'll deal with the oscars remodeling when it comes.

As for the sunlight, this window faces north and get no direct sunlight. The blinds also stay closed.

Seeing that little guy in that big of a tank just makes me laugh. Cute oscar you have there.

The water cleared up over night so I grabbed another picture. Still taken from my phone but you can definitely tell the difference.

Lookin' good riot. That oscar will be taking up all that space before you know it.
