Everyone will have their own opinions =/

I use TetraCrisp and TetraCrispColor as staples, and then use freeze dried Hikari Brine shrimp and Bloodworms -- which I soak in garlic Xtreme first. I also feed frozen food once a week (on water change day) as a treat.

ok, well i feed my 10g tank blood worms, Wardley shrimp pellets, Hikari micro pellets, and sometimes an algae wafer for the pleco. So i was thinking to feed my cories the shrimp pellets, and my tetras the blood worms or micro pellets.
I just wanted to see what you guys would say. Thanks.... :19:

Yup, works great for us. I feed my tetras and gouramis Hikari micro pellets, and blood worms 2 or 3 times a week.

i would get rid of wardley pelletes as they are bottom of the line..

what would I get instead of those because I always feed the pellets to all my fish and Aqua's fish?

I feed wardley and it seems just as good as tetra to me. But I mainly feed hikari.

I use Hikari pellets for cichlids, Tetra crisps for community fish and they all get blood worms and other goodies.

Of the brands mentioned here I would put them in the order of quality/what I would feed, in order from best to worst as:
NLS
Hikari
Tetra
Wardley

FYI Tetra is a grocery brand and although some of their foods are pretty good, their popularity seems to give the impression of higher quality.

Wardley really is bottom of the line and almost every one who has tried other brands has moved away from Wardley.

In general you get what you pay for. The more expensive foods are usually that way because they use higher quality, more expensive, ingredients which results in a healthier food.

Any dried or frozen feeds need to be only part of an otherwise highly varied diet since they are just a single source of nutrition, and therefore incomplete and usually VERY unbalanced.

I guess as long as the fish likes the food and it fits ur budget, it'll do...

I agree. :hmm3grin2orange: But I also like the best for my fish, and I usually don't pay for the food, that's why I switched from Tetra to Hikari.
