I have taken so many piccies of these guys but the challenge is always to get the sparkle, sheen & colors on camera...they are breathtaking in real life. In my photoalbum are a few previous shots but I think these show the colors quite nicely - just think blues/purples/yellows and greens when they move

Shame on me for breaking one of the taking piccie laws of not cleaning the glass beforehand <blush> LOL

Do you ever take bad pictures? :hmm3grin2orange:

Stunning fish, those diamonds :18: I'm so glad I have some. Rhett's rather a looker, isn't he? <files mental note for future tank #36>

Yeah but these are compact size...not vanity table size like yours :hmm3grin2orange: Every girl needs some mirrors :11:

Thanks for the compliments folks... :19: Diamonds are often overlooked in shops as they look very plain in the LFS - no proper lighting to show them as well as juveniles being more greyish - give them 6 months and good care and they turn into multicolored shimmering gems. I have fry from these at the moment...they are really lovely tetra's - highly recommended :c2:

Thanks Smaug!!! I know you have these beauties as well ....

Actually it wasn't too bad I cheated... it was 20 minutes before lights out they were getting ready for lights out so hanging out in their sleepy corner and not moving too much ...had to use the flash as the lights were already dimmed in the tank :c2: Should have made some really loud banging sounds then they would have just thought it's a thunderstorm with all the flashes LOL
