Is there such thing as Green Coraline Algae? I have some stuff that looks like coraline algae but it is green and in little circles like the pink/purple coraline algae looks like. It is all over the place in my 3.5g reef tank. The tank has been running without any crashes for about 4-5 months now.
Is it a type of Coraline Algae?

Yes green is a color of coraline and the prettiest if you were to ask my opinion. I have mostly pink and purple in mine. I'm starting to get a little green in some spots though. I was at a LFS not too long ago and all their rock in their tubs was a really pretty bright green. Nice looking stuff.

Ok thats good. I was hoping that it was one and not another type of alge coming through. The good thing is that I think I am all over with the algae stages. I have had the diatoms, then the green algae that grows everywhere, then hair algae, a touch of bubble algae (I believe thats what it's called), then a fraction of cyano around where my coral was. Thats all. Its starting to clear up a little now.
Anyways, with the green coraline algae..is that a good sign that it is growing in my tank??
