ahhhh what is this bug in my tank?

I couldn't get a very good shot of it but see what you can do. Looked like some sort of underwater fly larva or something nasty.

I only have shrimp in the tank so when i saw this thing i was thinking it was a mutant or something.

Hard to see but it's got most of it's legs up front and long wings that extend past it's rear end.

More than likely a damsel fly larvae that is eating your baby shrimp...

You could try a snail trap with a piece of red meat. Don't leave it in for long though since it's a major pollutant.
