If you buy fish that are diseased, you should return them immediately to the fish store for your money back.

Next time you buy fish.Go visit your local fish store and just look at the fish.Ask when the fish came in to that store?
Look for white spots (ich) on the fish?
Look for torn fins?
Look to see if some of their scales are lifting or a different color?
If you see anything like that ,do not buy them.Go back to the store a few days later and if the fish you want still seem healthy than buy them.Take them home and float the bag for at least 20 minutes. You can even add a little bit of your water to the bag slowly ,so your fish can get used to your water.
Remove the fish from the bag and dispose of the bag and water.
I do not suggest you add the water from that bag to your tank!!

Good luck Vali,I hope this helps you to find healthy fishys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Where do you live?

You must have different conditions for Discus than other fish. They like soft water and higher temps than other fish. They can not be crowded and need a large tank as they get very large and need perfect water conditions so lots of water changes.

HITH does not appear suddenly like this. It takes a while to show up. It can often be cleared up with large, frequent water changes.

first thing you might need to do is turn you tank temperature down!! im sure 34C is to hot even for medicating

Amature speaking here.. is the temperature the same when you do a water change? Discus can't tolerate extreme temperature changes.... I have great luck with my fish by only doing water changes. The only "medication" I ever use is chlorine/chloromine remover. Don't use any "quick fix" chemicals, they may just stress the fish out more, stick to water changes, once a day should be good enough if you have a good filter, if not, try more than once a day. Try the keep the temp between the new water and exsisting tank water the same, if they aren't eating hold off on feeding them for a few days as it will just pollute the tank.

Discus like 79-86° F water, and as stated above, do not like rapid changes in temperatre (what fish do?). You can put a heater and a thermomiter in your water change bucket to ensure the proper temperature before adding to the tank.

i would get a diatom filter since it takes out things less that 2 microns. normally an ich paracite is 100-250 microns. so all of the paracites will be removed. that way your fish will not die off as quickly. discus are prone to getting diseases. it also makes the aquarium super crystal clear.
then you should replace 10-15 % of the water 2 times a week instead of 20- 25% every week. then the disus should sit in the bag with it open and put a cup of water in the tank every 15 minutes until the bag is full then dump the water throuh the net and realease the fish. i then the fish would be acclimated and the fish will not get sick as much since the ammonia level does not goe up. also do some reaserch about discus. i have 2 and they are brown and royal red mix discus. hope this helps
