Since my camera crapped out just after I got the reef going I have not been able to flood the site with pics. To make up for it:
To start: the recently added bubble tip anemone:

Weird yellow threads coming from rock. When I finally got a few out, these are from a small worm thing (reminds me of bristleworm, so maybe some type of segmented worm). Have not seen these before. I am removing them as I can.

The bubble tip makes your tank a site to behold. I thought such creativity was only found in a planted tank, but you have proved that opinion of mine wrong. Your montain range-rock formation that is teeming with green marine algae completely sells the tank.
I can not get over the fact that such organisms can be kept somewhere other than a research institution.
I wouldn't be surprised at all if you stare at your tank 24/5, and I'm assuming you barely get any sleep if you have lunar lights.
How many watts of light are you running? What type of light?

Fixture 1:Normal output T5 (2x18 watts). One 10,000K, the other bulb is actinic.
Fixture 2:Screw-in compact fluorescent 50/50s at 20 watts each in an old 10 gallon incandescent fixture.
So 76 watts total.
Thank you very much.

Love the livestock and coral selections! :thumb:
Not a fan of the algae, though.

There are a couple scarlet legged hermits in there slowly wiping out the turf algae.
