thanks guys they are real cute and nice buggers.
I have about 16 of them in my grow out tank and they are about one and half months old.

Cute babies. I saw the list of fish you have in your tank on the same blog page (the link you posted). It didn't list a male M. estherae. The only male was a convict. Was the estherae holding when you got it?

I had a total of 3 red zebra of which one was a male, when the female started holding I had separated her and in a weeks time the convicts spawned and hell broke loose. I was forced to give away 2 red zebra, 2 female convicts.
