Can a turtle and frog co-habite

I have a 23 years old turtle but lives alone, often loose in the apartment. My niece was so impressed she bought 2 young turtles for her son, now he would like to add a frog. Can a turtle and frog co-habite in the same aquarium and if yes, is there a suggestion on species?

If the turtle can bite the frog he will,its not worth he risk.

And if it is a fire belly toad it is poisonous and would kill the turtle if the turtle tried to eat it.
