Red Tiger stripe Platy had babies!

I posted a thread about getting a pair of Red Tiger striped platys. Well I thought that the female one I got was pregnate. Well yesterday she had babies. I was able to catch 5 of them. I keep checking for more. I put her in a breeder but decided to let her out because she was stressed out. I put the babies in a 2 gal. tank. I can't wait til the colors show up in a couple of months. The tails of the mom and dad have little mickey mouse faces. I have not seen this kind of Tiger platy before. Maybe the lfs will give me credit for the babies after they get their colors.:19:

Thanks everyone. I called Petco and since I bought them on the 10th of Sept. I have 15 days to return one If I want. The male Tiger stripe is bothering the female and since she was Pregnant before I got the male I will be returning the male this will give her some peace. Since I have 5 babies and I'm sure she will have more later over the next few months without the male I am keeping the female Tiger . I was going to return both but I like the females tiger stripes and it will be fun to raise her babies. Petco does not give store credit for excess fish but told me that they will take a donation for free of unwanted fish if you have excess . I will rehome the babies when they are grown that I can't keep on Craigslist. Baby fish are so cute.
