sounds like popeye. with both eyes it sounds like poor water quality. how are your ammonia readings?

Sounds like popeye to me as well. I had a betta suffer from this recently and he pulled through fine, when you take necessary action. I had my betta in a glass covered heated 2.5 and dosed him with some salt and frequent water changes. Worked like a wonder. I think I added a TAD of melafix, but other than that just salt and heat and clean water. Good luck to you! Hope it pulls through!!

Do like I did for my betta. Put it in a covered heated tank so the heat stays in and put some aquarium salt in the tank. Keep the water extremely clean. Put the molly in a smaller tank if you have to to save on using so much meds.

I will have to try that. can stress cause this to happen?

I have no idea if stress would do that. I think it's more of a poor water quality type thing. I found that out the hard way even though I cleaned their water 2 times a week, lol! A filter may have helped me there.

Thats very strange that this happened then because i just checked the parameters sunday and everything was great and she was doing fine before the water change. But she has been sick off and one for awhile now so I cant decide if i should just put her out of her misery.

This is what I would do. I would treat her like I said and watch her for a few weeks. If she starts getting better, then good. If she doesn't, then that's for you to decide. If you feel that is best for her, then go for it. The owner always knows when it's time to put their pet out of their misery.

You really need to check your fish daily to make sure they are OK. Pop-eye is very curable but must be treated right away.

I do check everyday and every other fish looks great. Im kinda wondering if she didnt get hurt while I was cleaning the tank (squished or something). I especially think this because what I was explained about pop eye it is caused from poor water quailty and 2 days before my water change all the parameters were great. But I hadnt done a good cleaning on my tank for a while so I vacuumed the gravel and took out he decorations and everything. Before all that everyone looked just fine. Then within an hour I noticed this fish.

Maybe it had something to do with not cleaning it with the vac for a while? You know there's a lot of waste and such under the gravels from where the fish food and where uneaten food goes. If you let it sit for a while, sure it's going to make your fish sick. I had that problem once and now I vacuum the gravel every time I clean my tanks.

I normally do vacuum when i clean i just did extra good this time. But i guess you live and learn to bad it was at the cost of a fish

We all make mistakes so not to worry. Even when water looks clean and all water parmeters are fine, we must remember that fish pee in this water 24/7 and still needs to be changed regularly.
