Question about the "bank"

Sorry for the beginner question...

Does the bank on the forums actually do anything? I keep putting my credits in there to get interest, but it says.

"Next Bank Interest: -16 days, -4 hours, -15 minutes, -32 seconds until next payment of 13.85 Points"

And it just get's more "behind" on interest payments. So is there no reason to be doing this?

Unless it's been fixed recently, the interest feature in the bank doesn't work.

I think I may have tried to use the bank once, but nothing happened. I am new too, so I really have no clue. Besides I do not think I have any points. LOL One time I tried to use the give gifts thing too, and I did not get what was going on. I am just mostly happy to read the threads, learn, and every great once in a while help.

Once upon a time you could steal other users points, unless they were in the bank. We voted to opt that option out. The bank interest thing hasn't worked in a really long time.
