Gives good indictation of the sizes they get.
That is, if you are unlike me, and actually KNOW what kind you have. :ezpi_wink1:

Mine is similar to a couple of those but I'm not sure if he was exactly like either.... I'll have to get a good picture of him some day when he is actually where I can find him for more than a micro-second and compare him against this list. good info.

I thought mine was the sailfin but I was going by the dorsal fin only. Heck, most of them have a dorsal fin. duh! But he does look like that spinny pleco. Another large variety.

Mine is only 1.5 inches... he can hide under a gnat! I have at least 3 hiding places in the tank I can't see in. and they give him enough room he can swim without showing himself for days at a time. Last week I had to search for him to make sure he wasn't food for the other community......

Im almost positive mine is a common. With all those species though... makes me second guess myself

his top fin is so huge one of my convicts took a nip at it but it healed up for the most part now.

Kinda hard to tell from the front, also he seems to be camouflaging himself so his patterning is indistinct. Try to get a picture of him from the side, so I can see the striations on his dorsal fin and also try to get a picture of his belly, as his patterning here will also help distinguish him.

Bluefin yours does resemble a snow pleco. There are so many species... it is almost overwhelming
