Hello everyone. I need help in indentifying this stem plant. I am unsure whether it belongs to the Java fern family or Amazon swords. Thank you. Both pics are showing the same plant.

Since the question was a simple one and we're on topic here, I'm going to jump in for some additional information.
How does one propagate/split hygrophila?

same as any other stem plant, cut and replant the top, the base will put out shoots and can form a very large bush with repeated trimming

And some more info...
Hygrophila use up ammonia and Nitrates as well as keep algae at bay - that's most Hygrphila species plants - great plants and very very easy growers :19: :19:
