Cleaning net breeder

I currently have 3 platy fry... there were 4... but one disappeared. :sconfused:

It gets a little dirty in there, and I honestly don't have a few dollars to spend on some cleaning device.

Is there a way that I can get the debree out of there with something around the house? I tried using a net, but that wasn't very effective. It gets some stuff out, but not enough.

I feed them in small amounts 3 times a day with pulverized flakes.

Any help would be wonderful :D

Remove the fry into a bowl and take it out to clean it.

You can put a mesh bag over your gravel cleaner and pinch the hose when the fry get stuck.But it is easier to remove and clean.
