What is the best way to ship plants?

I find that a fish bag with a small amount of water filled with air. This gives the content room to move around, like a shock absorber and it wont get squished. The air has CO2 in it so the plant wont sufficate.
I have recieved plants that were wrapped in wet news paper. I never had very good luck with these plants, over half of them always die.

Any one have any input on this toppic?

Mine come in wet newspaper or paper towels around the plant and then put in zip lock bags. They always look good when I get them. I think the express postage some of these places want for shipping over night for plants is silly. They are perfectly fine shipped USPS and 3 days in shipping doesn't hurt them a bit.

Agreed with Lady. I have received a lot of plants in that manner without any trouble.
