I have 3 pairs of Mollies and one have been pumping out frys at an alarming rate...the success rate looks good, but when they hit juvenile age (about half the size of the adults), they start disappearing...I saw 5, then two weeks later 4, then another two weeks 2, now I'm down to 1. I can't find any evidence of where they are...I'm thinking if they had died, their carcass would be at the bottom somewhere...I have small snails and some cherry shrimps all in a 50 gallon tank...I can't imagine them eating it that fast...All the fish appears healthy...I haven't loss any of the adults during this time. Any thoughts???

Shrimp and Snails are very fast cleanup crews. With them being Juvies I wouldn't be surprised if shrimp were dragging off the carcass to somewhere you can't see to eat them.

I was starting to suspect the shrimp and snails because I've noticed the shrimps looking very large and healthy now...the snail bloom has gotten out of control during this time as well.

Note: Don't get snails...you'll regret it. I've been removing 5 snails a day from tank...never ending task.

Umm I have over 600 snails in one tank alone.... :-)
