My ghost shrimp is gone!

Hey guys. My ghost shrimp has gone MIA, and this time I mean permanently. I don't know what happened. Usually waldo just hides sometimes and reappears but hes permanently gone now. Is it possible that my little danios had a shrimp meal? I never found a body.

How big was he? Were his only tankmates danios?

They do not live long. I had 7 in a tank and 4 are left after about a month or little longer. I also have 2 Cardinal Tetras in the same tank, but I do not think they ate them. I think the 4 I have left will live another 3 months.
