Did you leave the cotton around the plant roots of the stem plants? These tend to rot away and make a lot of mess after a while....

I bet the fish are really happy also with their new snazzy home :1luvu:

na i havent taken it off yet im still sort of moving them around a bit till i get it just right

Nice looking tank! I find it takes a while to get the plants just right, so take your time and enjoy! As Jess said, you definitely don't want that cotton wool in there for too long.

eh, your thermometer is crooked. Just kidding, I have the same thermo, and it is always crooked somehow... Nice looking tank.. Just curious, where can I find big rocks like that? I live in central Maine.. so aquarium supplies run relatively thin here.... The only slate I have in my tank I had to actually go to a retired slate quarry and pick some out haha..
