plecco in a planted tank?

I am in the proces off cycling my tank, It is planted and my question now is.
About 50% of the bottom has live plants, some of them are a carpet plant so I am hoping thay will multiply over time, could I still get a plecco when I start adding fish?

depends on the pleco- you will just have to make sure you getone that doesnt eat plants - what size is your tank and did you have any type of pleco in mind?also check out planet catfish cat e-log for info on specific plecos.

I have a gold nugget pleco in my 75, great looking fish and doesn't bother the plants.
