Recently on Craigslist, I found a Brand New Marineland C220 canister filter, never taken out of box for only $100. Is this a good deal, is this a good filter?

This one is cheaper....
Or get Fluval or Eheim or Rena.... Those are the best

Personally I'm not a fan of the Marineland canisters. Unless they have improved them you can do far better with an Eheim, Rena or even a Fluval.

I find Eheim to be the most reliable filter available

Ebay or creigs list
try to get one that is for twice the size tank you want to use it on.

I won an e-bay auction for a C-360 last week, $72 shipped. IMO $100 for a smaller filter isn't a great buy, here's a brand new one for a few $$ less w/shipping included: [Only Registered Users Can See Links.]
