We went to one yesterday,it was our 4th time there for my wife and I and my daughters 2nd.We had a blast and the weather was good.We saw lots of shows and my wife and little girl got to meet Lady Mary!Here are some pics,I know its a corny thing to do for those of you who are aware of these things,for those who arent,you should go,its fun.My daughter also got her pic taken with Capt Jack Sparrow,the guy had the character down pat,even in looks.10487

Thats where my wife is from!Small world.Her mother and grandma still live there,not in butler but close.

Ren fairs are the greatest! I use to be a participant in Indiana, and had a blast being a gypsy. Got to steal children, and steal loot to pay for the kings taxes. I haven't been a participant in a long while, but still love to go to them. I know that clearing 1500.00 a weekend was profitable, but short lived. I have some very fond memories of them.

If you can ever be a participant, try to do so. It is definately an adventure.
