Hard to say, but a tank is cycled when it's cycled when both ammonia and nitrites are zero consistently for a few days. Probably not what you wanted to hear. When did you start and how big is the tank? I assume this is fishless. What is your water temperature?

Those readings look like you have a very high bioload. Can you remind us of the tank and inhabitants?

its a fishless cycle i have one cocktail shrimp in there should i remove it?
EDIT: i started cycling like 3 weeks ago its a 20 gallon temp is around 80

Your readings suggest the shrimp is decaying faster than the bioload is able to handle. I'd remove the shrimp, do a huge water change, and stock at 50%. Just what I'd do mind you.

Any chance that you have access to surfactant free ammonia? I forgot you were doing this with shrimp (must smell gawd-awful LOL). Or, you could go with gm72's advice.

I'd do more like a 75% water change. Number of fish is not applicable. We need to think about bioload. What kind of tank are you interested in keeping?

And just monitor your water params for a couple of days afterwards...you should be good to go and say goodbye to the shrimp LOL You are so lucky it has not go to stinking stage yet--it would have been a gagger.

Agreed with Fins. Watch those water parameters very closely, I'd say for at least a week or two. Perform your weekly 40-50% water changes. I think you'll be in great shape!

Missed your post about the (panda) corys. Get your gbrs in there for a week an monitor params to be sure all is good, then wait and get some panda corys a week or two later...and aim for 6 or 7 of them.
