white convict lifespan

how long do these guys live for? i think my females ready to hit the planted tank in the sky. i bought her a year ago when a LFS closed down and sold the stock in their show tank. she was white with orange shade allover and neon blue fins, and now shes showing the sings of old age, tattered fins, swimming slow, staying near the corner, dull white coloring, etc. im guessing she was matured at the LFS's tank so maybe its age

Whats the water paramters look like? And i highly doubt a year, for any meidum sized cichlid is their lifespan. Maybe its getting picked on.

parameters are perfect, 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite,`~5 nitrate. ive got a FX5 on it. im guessing shes at least 6 years old. ive never seen anyone pick on her, and she wouldnt let anyone. when she laid eggs, she took on my oscar which was 6" or 8" at the time and would have killed my oscar if i didnt seperate them, and this was in the 50g long. the LFS had the show tank up for a long time, so she was probably there from the start
