Hello- and intreseted in some help seeking catfish

Hello
My name is Joe Schroeder and I am an avid catfish fan. I want to re-start a freshwater aquarium with unique catfish. In particular, I am wondering how to get a baby Wells catfish and how to care for them...they seem fascinating as one of the largest catfishes in the world (note, I am located in the US). Obviously, I will not be able to keep them in an aquarium forever but will need to transfer them to my pond over time. Anypne have any advise? thanks

Is you pond able to handle a 9 foot several hundred pound fish..... If so I would call it a lake more than a pond. I would not recommend keeping a Wells to anyone.

hello joe..............thats a target and you do know that they can do over 200lb in weight? as im in the uk i cant help with your purchaseing
are they legal in your country as an aquarium pet?
they grow fast, eat anything in sight,
also best on there own in an aquarium
must be fed live fish such as (if you have these in the us) tench,small bream,small carp this will be when they reach the pond
in the aquaria it will eat feeder fish small goldfish,snails,shrimps,
your tank will have to be massive 500g +
also require hiding places as there nocturnal,wood tubes,caves,
if you know this already apologies
