I found my old book "Old Yeller" at my parents over Christmas and just finished reading it.....Of coarse I cried like a little girl.
So....
What books and movies do make you cry. Maybe I am just an over sensitive guy but we all cry right?

That's funny you say where the red fern grows as that was the other book i nabbed from my parents and am reading it again right now. I also bawl at the end.

I cry all the time when reading books and during the occasional movie that I watch. 'Snow falling on cedar', 'The Shawshank Redemption' and 'The Green Mile' had me crying and I'm a real sap when it comes to sad scenes and music in anime.
The ones that stand out are episode 19 of Naruto when Haku sacrifices himself to defend Zabuza.
Episode 23 (i think) of Samurai Champloo when Mugen has his drowning scene (the music is really touching and melancholy, the link to listen to it is on this page [Only Registered Users Can See Links.] ). The second last episode in Ghost in the Shell SAC where the tachikomas sacrifice themselves defending Batou (ooh I really cried watching this one).
One book that had me crying all the time was Pat Conroys 'Prince of Tides'. Awesome book, very moving, and Stephen Kings 'Dark Tower' series had quite a few tear jerking scenes for me as well.
Sheesh, well now you know I'm a real crybaby when it comes to certain things :/

I still get a bit of a lump in the throat in a few scenes in "The green mile" have also read the book, a great story from a great author (don't so much like his later stuff though)
