Yeah, it's over... but it was very good while it lasted! Boy! Bolt, Phelps,... Many world record were broken... and China! Wow! The international media expected China to win anywhere between five to ten more gold medals than the US... but it sure did much better than that! WOW!!! Fifty-one golds!...

I'm so happy for them. If there are any Chinese in the forum... KUDOS to them!

Meh, there's bomb threats everywhere these days.

There was a bomb threat at my local hospital last week. There was this box and the lid was moving and they thought it was a bomb. Turned out it was one of those grass Chia Pets and it was growing so fast it lifted the lid off the box. Big scare for nothing.

I went to the place where they are holding the games, I was there over a week ago while visiting relatives. Everything is spaced so far away, even if you set something off in the middle of the stands you wouldn't get many peoples I don't think.

I love that it's over. Finally the normal GOOD shows will be back on. I hate sports and I hate how they just assume everyone wants to watch sports 24/7 for 2 weeks.
