Hi there, ive just joined this site as i have recently set up a tropical aquarium. it is a 48x12x15 tank with a fluval4 underwater filter, a smaller filter just to add some extra movement, a tetratec aps 100 air pump connected to an air stone ball and a crazy orange starfish. I also have a big head statue and a pagoda as well as a log that is supposed to turn the water a shade of orange but that doesnt seem to be happening. I have 2 blue gouramis (which appear to be male), 2 kissing gourami, 1 plec, 1 upside down catfish, 3 mickey mouse platys, guppies, mollies and neon tetras. I also have 2 small frogs. They all appear to get along just fine and we have several baby mollies. We have just gone to this size tank from a 3ft one and most of the fish have transferred from that tank. we also have 3 potted plants in there and 2 bunches of tall plant, dont know the names of them though.
