Heres a video of the female guppy I've had around 25 days. She looks like she's gonna pop and was pregnant when we got her (2 others look the same) How much longer does she have and when should I take her out of the community put her in the breeder? I've had all four of my female guppies this long, so I expect to have lots of fry very soon:hmm3grin2orange:

You'll have more fry than you know what to do with, although the Angel will likely predate upon them. I'd go ahead and move her into the breeder now. Do you have plans for the fry?

Most will be food, but I'm gonna try and raise a few and sell some too. I have some plastic floating plants in the breeder so they can hide in if their born after we go to bed or early morning. I haven't been able to find any brine shrimp kits around here, would crushed flakes and blood worms be ok. Also, I'm going to put a cup of water out and try to get some mosquito larva.

I'll move the 2 biggest ones tonight and see what happens in the next few days.

I feed my guppy fry NLS grow and/or finely crushed flake. No need for special live food. I have raised many, many of these guys without any special live food whatsoever.

Good to know because the mosquitoes are pretty much gone from here, will be completely gone in a few weeks. Its starting to get cold at night. What is NLS? Will a first bites food at the lfs also work, or is that what it is/

New Life Spectrum. First Bites from Hikari works well, I have used it before. Honestly though the First Bites is basically powdered flake-type food. I feed all of my fry--corys, guppys, swordtails, etc., finely crushed flake food. No problems.

Still no fry, but Wednesday is day 28, if she hasn't given birth by then, i may put the largest in the breeder net to see if she feels safer in there. She's in the breeder tank with one other guppy.
