I have a 5 gallon cycled tank that has 2 platy's, not sure if they are platy's or swords--guess I'll find out in a few months. Well they are around 1/2 inch in length, I got them from petsmart a few months ago when they were hard to see, they just gave them to me. I want to put them into my 55 gallon but I'm not sure if the other fish will eat them or not? Have 1 small angelfish, 1 female betta, 1 zebra danio, 2 black skirt tetras, 1 honey gourami, 2 bristlenose, 2 weatherloaches and 3 tiny albino cory's---would they be safe or should I let them fill out a little more before adding them to the tank? I added 2 small 1/4 inch black mollie babies to the 55 last week and they disappeared, don't know if they are hidding or they became a gourma dinner for one of the fish, figure it was the latter.

I have seen half-grown angelfish eat small tetras (a little bigger than neons), so I'd suspect that's what became of the molly fry.
Incidentally, the zebra danio and black skirt tetra are schooling species, and would be happier in groups. The weather loaches aren't "tropical" critters, they actually prefer cooler water (like goldfish.)

If the fry are small enough to fit in any fish mouth, you might want to grow them out some more.

When they are a good 1/2" bigger than the biggest fish's mouth AND they are large and fast enough to compete for food.
