Hi Guys,

I am a beginner here, made some fatal mistakes with some deaths of our fish. I am currently cycling our tank (with some remaining fish in it unfortunately!), and not sure if any of them will survive the trip.

Anyway - to make me think of something other than my dying fish, I am looking forward to when I have a healthy tank, and which fish to choose.

I love the neon tetras, so definitely wants some of those.

I have a 39L (10.5 gallon) tank, and not sure what would be appropriate.

Someone suggested having all tetras (different varieties) maybe, but not sure which would be the best choices, and also how many as I don't want to over crowd the tank.

Anyone's advice is most welcome!! Thanks!!

You will have to wait until you have finished cycling before adding more fish. It also depends on what fish are already in the 10g. TEtras like groups of around 6 so you could probably only have one type in there.

A 10g is not much to work with. 1 group of atleast 6 Tetras would be good, try Cardinals instead of Neons they are generally much more hardier.
