Ok so im not even really sure what I have yet but here are some pics. I was told that these ones will do ok with low light. Im only running a 30 watt 50/50 24 inch. Tank has also only been up for a month now but I used all life rock and water from a established reef tank. Water test are good for now too so i think i should be ok with coral.

First pic are green star polyps. The second one is Pulsing Xenia (aka Waving Hand Coral). the third are button polyps.
Looks good.

They all need higher lighting. Sorry to burst your bubble. At least 4 WPG.

The green star polyps and button polyps are more tolerant of lower light. The xenia should have a bit brighter light. Hopefully at least two of the three will do okay in your light even though it's pretty low.
Congrats on the new corals. Very exciting. Keep us posted on how they do.

Nice layout and corals!
I think that might be a type of zoanthid.
What type of fish is that in lower left of the full tank shot?

Im pretty sure that he is a Falco Hawkfish. He is the coolest fish in the tank. He acts like a dog.

Does anybody have any suggestions on lighting. I would like to go cheap and do not want any lights that produce too much heat. I dont want to have to get a chiller. Maybe T-5 HO?

Aqua traders are cheap but there has been some complaints lately about them catching on fire but I run one and have had no problems.

I think the PC lights look like the best price. Any downside to PC Lights?

PC's are inefficient but theyre pretty good. with the 260w PC on my 55g i sustained high light corals, anemones, and SPS with ease. i upgraded to halides because halides look the most natural but PC are good
