!!!Need some help!!!

Hey All, I saved a little fish from being a Lion Fishes dinner from my local Aquarium store..Now several Months later he is about 3 1/2 inches long and very aggressive, I still have no idea what Kind of Cichlid he is exactly, I was hoping someone could Identify him/her and let me know. I added some pictures, I hope they can be viewed.. Thanks

I would say it's a Jack Dempsey Cichlid.

How would I know if it's a Male or Female, I have 2 female Texas Cichlids in with this fish, it's a 30 gallon...is that cool?

1 Texas cichlid should have 75 gallons, if keeping them with other fish like a territorial Jack Dempsey they'd need 125+ gallons. A JD can grow up to 10 inches, and Texas cichlids can reach up to 1 foot. :\ About sexing, a male has more of a pointed dorsal fin and a females are more rounded.

Looks like you have a male and you'll need a bigger tank.
