Pristella Tetra

Today I bought 2 beautiful pristella tetras for my 10 gallon community tank. One of the two keeps twitching by making his back end go up and down as he swims or stands still. Is this a symptom of some type of sickness? :sconfused:

Two things:
1. Not necessarily a sign of disease, especially this early in their getting used to new surroundings.
2. You realize that they are schooling fish and should be kept in groups of at least 5?

gm hit it on the head.... they will always be shy since they dot have buddies...

:14: That was a bad move on my part:[ I didn't take that into consideration much. The tank is fully cycled and has been up for years with great success, hopefully they will do ok. Thank you guys.

They will survive but will never thrive. Kind of like sticking you with one other person whom you don't know for the rest of your life. No support for socialization.
