18" pleco with a big belly bulge..what is it?

Possible eggs?...a tumor?...overeating?
Otherwise acts normal..no sign of any infection.
He/she is a little over 10 years old.
This "bulge" started appearing about 3 weeks ago and is slowly growing.
If anyone has any idea what this possibly is or has ever seen anything like this with a pleco, please let me know.
